On the Mend

Dad is still on the mend, but was feeling well enough on Friday to join his lunch buddies in Eureka. As an added bonus, he got to enjoy the lovely weather and talk a short walk along the bay. That is one of his favorite spots. When we walk with him, he tells us many stories about the gathering he did for school labs, field trips he took, and the places he used to work around the Bay.

Dear Friends of Denny,

Thanks for your patience. Dad came home last Sunday and is slowly recovering his strength. Daughter Christine and Son Kevin have both been up to visit him and give him encouragement. He's been sleeping a lot and a bit on the sluggish side, but yesterday he started making a few of his regular jokes again, so we are hoping he's on the mend. Please continue to keep him in your thoughts and prayers, and we'll keep you posted here.
